ANTH 0204 - SOUTH AMERICAN INDIANSMinimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 This course is an introduction to the traditional Indian population of South America, including a discussion of the peopling of South America, and descriptions of the technological, social, political, economic, and religious patterns of Indian groups at the time they were first encountered. It concludes with an analysis of some of the change that occurred as a result of contact with Europeans.
