WRITNG 1310 - ADVANCED FEATURE WRITING


Minimum Credits: 3
Maximum Credits: 3
Three non-fiction articles are research, written, and revised. Students also read published examples of the form in magazines such as the New Yorker and the New York times Sunday magazine. Book-length examples of new non-fiction such as Tom Wolfe's "The Right Stuff" are also appropriate reading. Class periods consist of discussion of the reading and critiques of student articles.
