This course presents trends, issues and politics within nursing that registered nurses will need to be familiar within their clinical practice. It will be presented in a seminar format with active participation by the students. Emphasis is placed on the future of nursing and the nursing organizations, changes in nursing education, nursing service and the health care delivery system. The influence of advanced technology and nursing research upon your practice will be addressed. Nursing politics and women's issues will be explored.
