A course designed specifically for non-majors. Introduces the basic principles of genetics from the perspective of the genetics of humans. Topics include the inheritance of single-gene and multi-gene traits, genetic diseases, genetic counseling, population genetics and the social and ethical implications of recent genetic advances.
