Explains methods of research such as family studies, dream analysis, interpretations of "body language", and projective tests. Surveys cross-cultural studies of such topics as cognition, values, and attitudes, male/female stereotypes, childrearing practices, alcoholism, mental disorders, and the impact of cultural change (urbanization and industrialization)."
