ASTRON 0103 - INTRO TO ASTRONOMY LABORATORY

This course provides the students with a valuable experience in analyzing data and laboratory report writing. The students will perform experiments and activities in the following areas: determination of the earth's gravitational acceleration, celestial coordinate systems and locating objects in the sky, properties of lenses and mirrors, tele scopes, graphical construction of planetary orbits, output power of the sun, photometry, distance measurement methods, spectroscopy, and astrophotography methods.
