PET 0110 - BASIC PRINCIPLES OF WELL CONTROL AND MUD LOGGING

This course is designed for students who require a basic understanding of the well control and mud logging to perform their oil and gas well site jobs. Students will learn system 21 web -based - well control electronic learning developed and offered by the well control school, Houston, Texas. Upon completion of the will control practical's students will receive a professional certificate from WCS, AAPG and API. Next, students will learn how geospect mud logging instrument is used to display depth, gas, estimated TVD depth, current ROP, ROP 5' average, lag depth (depth from which current sample came from), bottoms up strokes, simulated drill and lag strokes, drill rate curve, and gas curve in virtual environment.
