This course is designed for the non-major or for those students intending to take chemistry 0101 and 0102, but whose science and mathematical backgrounds are judged to be relatively weak. The course emphasizes stoichiometry (chemical calculations), chemical equations, gas laws, elementary atomic structure and periodic properties of elements.
