ENTR 0203 - EVENTURE MANAGEMENTMinimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 This course teaches students how to start a business on-line and how to manage the technological and managerial issues associated with e-commerce. Students will form into teams, research a market, select a product, write a marketing plan, and sell their product through the university's e-commerce inCubator. Students will utilize a genuine transaction-enabled business-to-consumer site, learn how such sites are managed, and explore how they can complement an existing business infrastructure. Students get hands-on experience implementing the technology to engage consumers, suppliers, payment gateways and other parties in electronic transactions. At the end of the project, students will produce a professional report summarizing their team's efforts and lessons learned.
