EDUC 1315 - ADVANCED READING METHODS

Advanced reading methods is the second course in reading and language arts for students seeking elementary certification. Students will continue their study the acquisition of language, the balanced literacy approach to reading and writing, and instructional strategies for the development of phonemic awareness, phonics, vocabulary, fluency, and comprehension. Emphasis will be placed on phonics and assessment.
