COMM 1330 - COMMUNICATION RESEARCH METHODS

This course will introduce you to quantitative and qualitative research methods in the study of communication. The focuses of this course are: (a) conceptualizing and designing research, (b) conducting research and running data analysis, and finally (c) presenting a research report. The learning process of this course will be both collaborative and independent. This class not only assists you in building the basic concepts of conducting communication research but also helps you to gain a hands-on approach to the rudimentary use of the SPSS software.
