CIST 1307 - DATABASE DESIGN AND MANAGEMENTMinimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 The structure, use, and design of database management systems (dbms) architecture. Topics include basic concepts and discussion of database models, data sublanguages, and user-oriented query languages. Management issues such as the role of the db administrator, data security, and recovery are also discussed.
