CLP 1310 - POSTCOLONIAL LITERATUREMinimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 Literature from Africa, the Caribbean and the Asian subcontinent from the period of colonization to the present day. Examines the literature in the context of empire, independence and national identity, drawing on contemporary work in postcolonial theory by said, Ngugi, Chatterjee, Zizek, Achebe, Jameson and others.
