COMM 1307 - VISUAL COMMUNICATIONSMinimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 This course develops a visual grammar for the images that we make and receive. We examine the nature of light and the physiology of the eye and brain, the social construction of symbols, and what ethical responsibilities makers of visual messages must consider. We also explore the role of digital technology in the generation and interpretation of visual messages.
