ECON 0203 - INTERNATIONAL FOOD SECURITY & POLICYMinimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 This Course examines the causes of famines and its relevance to the current global food crisis, generated through high food prices, food insecurity and climate change. Policy analysis will explore the debates surrounding Genetically Modified Crops (GMOs), WTO agreements, property rights along with economics of nutrition and health.
