HPEDU 0102 - CURRENT ISSUES IN COMMUNITY HEALTHMinimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 This course will provide an introduction to current perspectives and research findings about health problems that face individuals and communities. The focus will be primarily on population-based and prevention-oriented issues. The role of government and nongovernmental agencies in terms of community heath will also be explored. Current issues and future challenges facing community health in our country and world will be emphasized along mental health issues and death and dying.
