NUR 1406 - PATHOPHYSIOLOGY FOR NURSESMinimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 This course focuses on the biologic basis for disease in adults and children. Specifically, an in-depth and current understanding of disease processes across the lifespan is targeted. Attention will focus on health promotion/disease prevention by emphasizing risk factors, nutrition and disease, and other relevant therapeutic approaches. Discussion with regard to age-specific and gender-specific pathophysiological processes is highlighted.
