PSY 1409 - MEDIA PORTRAYALS OF PSYCHOLOGYMinimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 This course focuses on critical consumerism of popular media portrayals of psychological health and illness, topics of which may include addiction, and influential factors such as stereotypes, socioeconomic status, halo effect, and "white washing"/ethnic gloss of casts, among others.
