CLP 1310 - POSTCOLONIAL LITERATUREMinimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 Literature from Africa, the Caribbean and the Asian subcontinent from the period of colonization to the present day. Examines the literature in the context of empire, independence and national identity, drawing on contemporary work in postcolonial theory by said, Ngugi, Chatterjee, Zizek, Achebe, Jameson and others. Academic Career: Undergraduate Course Component: Lecture Grade Component: LG/SNC Elective Basis Course Requirements: Completion of ENG 0101, ENG 0102, FS 0102, and MATH 0098 or higher (this would include MATH 0110, 0132 or 0140) also completion of BIOL 0101, BIOL 0102, BIOL 0203 and BIOL 0217.
