NUR 0112 - COMPREHENSIVE NURSING 1Minimum Credits: 8 Maximum Credits: 8 Comprehensive nursing practice 1 applies the concepts of stress-adaptation, the nursing process and human needs to the care of med-surg adult, the pregnant female, the newborn and the family during the childbearing cycle. Health assessment and fluid and electrolyte concepts are introduced. The student learns to utilize specific concepts related to body defenses, carbohydrate metabolism, musculoskeletal, reproductive functions and psychosocial aspects of care.
