NUR 1302 - PROFESSIONAL NURSING CONCEPTSMinimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 This course is designed to introduce the adult student to the educational environment at the university of Pittsburgh and the school of nursing. The organizing framework and nursing theories which serve as the structure for the curriculum and nursing practice are presented. The nursing process is discussed as the foundation for nursing practice. Critical thinking and decision making are introduced.
