GEOL 1404 - COAL GEOLOGYMinimum Credits: 4 Maximum Credits: 4 This course is intended to provide those associated with the energy, environment, end resources industries with the background to the origins and characteristics of coal together with exploration techniques, including geophysics and hydrogeology. Details of coal mining techniques, resource calculation, alternative uses of coal, and environmental issues will be discussed.
