GEOL 0118 - PALEOBIOLOGY LABMinimum Credits: 1 Maximum Credits: 1 In the laboratory, you will learn to identify the basic groups of fossils and describe the relationships to one another and their environment, geologic and geographic distribution (when and where it lived), evolutionary history (is it extinct or extant?), ecological relationships (Who did it eat? Who was it eaten by?) behavior (did it live in burrows?), and taphonomy (how did it get fossilized?).
