HIST 0216 - U.S. WOMEN'S HISTORY SINCE 1865Minimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 This course examines U.S. women's history since 1865 with a special emphasis on how gender constructs affected women's participation in the industrial economy, constrained their educational opportunities, and shaped their family roles. Simultaneously, this course will consider women's efforts to redefine their position in society and lay claim to broad notions of political, economic, and social citizenship.
