ET 0115 - MECHANICS-STATICSMinimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 This course is an introduction to statics with an emphasis on determining the external effects of forces acting on particles, rigid bodies, and structures. For analysis, forces are treated as vectors and manipulated using vector algebra. Emphasis is placed on the use of the free-body diagram for equilibrium.
