This course is an introduction to substantive criminal law. It will cover the legal elements of criminal offenses, the nature of criminal responsibility, criminal defenses, and substantive offenses.Criminal law is the foundation of the justice system, and it defines the behaviors that are prohibited, prosecuted, and punished.
