PHIL 1302 - ENVIRONMENT, LAW, AND SOCIETYMinimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 This course explores the sometimes competing, sometimes complementary themes of the environment and our relationship to it through the lenses of law and society. "Society" explores how our view of the environment shapes our societal structures, e.g., ethics, economics, familial, and vice versa. The relationship between these three strands is web-like and one of the goals of the class is to expose you to societies where nature mandates a certain relationship demonstrated through legal and social relationships.
