EXSCI 1400 - ECG INTERPRETATION/STRESS TEST LABMinimum Credits: 1 Maximum Credits: 1 This course is designed to improve students' understanding and interpretation of ECGs at rest and during stress testing. An understanding of cardiac physiology and electrocardiography is an important aspect of clinical exercise physiology. This course is designed to apply the ability to interpret the resting normal, abnormal ECG, as well as provide an overview of heart anatomy and function. In addition, the course will provide the ECG interpretation during stress testing, which will provide valuable knowledge and skills as a future health care professional. Specific emphasis will be placed on the analysis of the cardiovascular system through non-invasive methods of evaluation. Prerequisites: Math Competency, ENG 0101 & ENG 102, FS 0104, EXSCI 1410 & 1435.
