EM 1125 - SPECIAL POPULATIONSMinimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 This course prepares paramedic students to recognize and manage the unique needs of patients across various special populations. Topics include obstetrics and gynecology (OB/GYN), neonatal care, pediatric and geriatric patients, as well as individuals with special healthcare challenges. Emphasis is placed on assessment, communication, and appropriate interventions tailored to each population, ensuring safe and effective prehospital care.
