NUR 1415 - FIELD RESEARCH METHODSMinimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 This course is an introduction to qualitative field methods in nursing. Emphasis is on developing an understanding and appreciation of field methods including entering the field, gathering, analyzing and interpreting, and communicating data. Recognizing that fieldwork immerses the researcher in the area of study in order to capture the meaning and experience of participants, the student will have opportunities to gain practical experiences in the tasks of fieldwork through engagement in a field project of choice.
